New to PLJCS This Fall: Gardening
Class Series

In collaboration with the N.C. Cooperative Extension - Johnston County Center Extension Master Gardener volunteers, PLJCS will offer a series of gardening classes at the library this Fall. Join us to learn and grow with expert guidance on various gardening topics. Mark your calendar for the following informative classes that will be held at the library starting this September:

  • Saturday, September 14th from 10am to 12pm - Fall Gardening 101: Learn about various Fall gardening topics and planting tips.

  • Saturday, September 28th from 10am to 12pm - Seed Saving: Learn about preserving and cultivating plants and methods for harvesting, storing, and planting seeds to ensure a thriving garden.

  • Saturday, October 12th from 10am to 12pm - Soil for In-Ground & Container Gardening: Learn the role soil plays in creating thriving plants. Explore the essentials of soil for in-ground & container gardening.

Classes are free of charge, open to the general public, and there is no registration required.
