PLJCS Unveils New Logo

We are excited to share our new logo! Logos are the face of an organization; PLJCS's new logo represents our library’s identity, principles, values, and mission in a single image. Our hope is that the new logo inspires our community to visit the library and benefit from all of the resources and services that it has to offer.

The most notable change is that the new logo moves away from closed books on a shelf to an open book. The open book symbolizes knowledge, accessibility, and discovery; it represents the sharing of ideas and information, inviting everyone to explore and learn.

The book pages are designed to resemble people, ranging from large to small, in various colors, vividly representing community, growth, and inclusivity. The varied colors and sizes of the pages reflect not only the rich tapestry of voices and experiences within our community, but within the books in our collection as well. By showcasing people in this way, the logo emphasizes the library’s role as a space where all are welcomed and encouraged to learn, connect, and grow together.
