We're Hosting a "Gift Tree" this Holiday Season

This holiday season, our library is hosting a "Gift Tree" in support of making the holidays a little brighter for those in need in our community. A heartfelt thank you to the Johnston County Department of Social Services for coordinating this important project!
Here's how you can make a difference:

Stop by the LIBRARY.

Pick a CARD off of the tree.

Purchase items off of the WISH LIST.

Place items in GIFT BAGS (or leave them unwrapped).

Clearly label the gifts with the NUMBER found on the card.

RETURN the gifts to the LIBRARY by Friday, December 5th, 2025.
PLJCS 13th Annual Gingerbread House Festival
Calling gingerbread architects of all ages! Join us for our 13th Annual Gingerbread House Festival, where creativity, community, and a little bit of frosting come together for one sweet competition.
Entries will be accepted for the following age categories:

Family
-
Junior (ages 6-8)

Youth (ages 9-12)
-
Teen (ages 13-17)
-
Adult (18+)
