At PLJCS, we offer several programs and events for our adult patrons. From book clubs and meditative coloring to technology classes for seniors, we've got a wide variety of activities.

Color Me Calm Meditative Coloring
Mondays between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.

Adults, drop-in on Mondays between 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. for a quiet and calming coloring session where you can tap into your inner artist, find relaxation, and leave feeling rejuvenated. No artistic skills required – just bring yourself and embrace the soothing power of coloring. Step into a realm of tranquility with "Color Me Calm" – your sanctuary for quiet creativity.

Bookaholics Book Club
Third Wednesday from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Join the PLJCS Bookaholics Book Club for an evening of relaxing adult fellowship and open, engaging book discussion. This book club is geared towards people from ages 18-40, but is open to all adults 18 and up. We meet on the third Wednesday of each month at 6:00pm. Adult Fiction Book Club
Third Tuesday from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Looking for your next great read and place to talk about it with fellow book lovers? Look no further! Our adult fiction book club is about exploring captivating stories, diverse voices, and unforgettable characters. Each month, we'll read a new book, share our thoughts and enjoy lively discussions. Fall 2025 Small Group Technology Classes
Every other Wednesday
from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Adults from newly connected households and/or who are looking to build basic skills and confidence using technology are invited to register for our small-group technology classes. Spaces do fill quickly!
These classes will cover a variety of technology topics like internet basics, cybersecurity, and Libby.
