Learn Together - Small Group Technology Classes at the Library!​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

Join our small group technology classes and build your digital skills in a friendly, supportive environment. These classes are geared towards adults from newly connected households and/or adults who are looking to build basic skills and confidence using technology and digital resources. We'll cover topics like internet basics to using the Libby reading app. With personalized attention and hands-on practice, you'll gain confidence and connect with others on your tech journey. Free and open to all - come learn with us!

September 2026 Schedule - Small Group Technology Classes​
Technology classes will be facilitated by Stephanie Haumont, Marketing & Technology Librarian and will cover a variety of basic information at a beginner's pace. Classes will be held every Wednesday in September at 1 p.m. at the library beginning September 2, 2026.
Class time is approximately 30-45 minutes with about 15-minutes of time built-in at the end for questions, practice, and discussion. See class details and register by visiting (Schedule may be subject to change. Please check back on our website or social media for any updates).

September 2, 2026: Internet Basics - learn about search engines, the internet, and navigating safely around websites.

September 9, 2026: Getting Started with Email/Gmail - set up an email (Gmail) account and learn how to navigate Gmail's features and interface. Participants will also practice sending an email.

September 16, 2026: Introduction to Word Processing with Google Docs - learn how to use Google Docs basic features for creating, editing, and sharing word processing documents. It is helpful if participants already have a Google account, but not necessary.

September 23, 2026: Introduction to File Management with Google Drive - participants will learn how Google Drive can be used for uploading, organizing, and sharing files in the cloud. It is helpful if participants already have a Google account, but not necessary.

September 30, 2026: Build a Website Using Google Sites - begin building a simple website using Google Sites. Use your Google Site as a personal website, a family history project, hobby page, community group, small business, etc. It is helpful if participants already have a Google account, but not necessary.
