PLJCS Reads is our library's reader advisory service designed to help you discover your next great read based on your own preferences!

PLJCS Reads will only suggest books that are in our catalog, and some of those books may already have a hold queue on them. You'll have the opportunity to click on the book covers in the newsletter and place holds on titles which you are interested in reading.​ We even have a category for our very own patron picks - library book recommendations from other readers in your community!

Ready to start receiving your monthly book recommendations? Fill out the form below to let us know what your reading preferences are, and we will send you a monthly newsletter including six book recommendations for each category you selected as a preference on the form. You can expect to see your recommendations on the 15th day of the month.
