Adventure Begins At Your Library!
The Public Library of Johnston County and Smithfield is excited to launch its 2024 Adult Summer Reading Program with the theme of "Adventure Begins at Your Library." Our adult summer reading program officially kicks off on June 10th! The library will have weekly events in June, July, and August. Participation in our summer program could earn you a prize! Book Review Bookmarks & Stamp Cards

Read library books and submit book reviews, and participate in library programs and events for chances to win a grand prize at the end of summer.

Book review bookmarks and stamp cards will be available beginning June 3rd, 2024 at the Patron Services Desk.

Book review bookmarks and stamp cards will be available throughout the summer.

Participants can complete book review bookmarks at home or at the library in order to earn stamps, but they must be for a book checked out through the library.

Participants can earn a stamp for every book review bookmark submitted.

Participants can also earn a stamp for each library program/ event attended.

Stamps and stamp cards will be used as entries to win a Kindle Paperwhite. The more stamps you earn, the better your chances are to win the grand prize!

The deadline to turn in all book review bookmarks and stamp cards is on August 26th, 2024.

Grand prize winners will be announced on August 27th, 2024.
