We are now offering a virtual hangout space, just for teens! Teens between the ages of 13 to 18 can join our PLJCS Teen Hangout server to chat about things like:

• Video Games

• Movies

• Trivia

• Anime

• Sports

• Books

• Art

​

This is a great way for teens to hangout with friends, chat with our library staff, and stay connected through virtual programs that we offer in a safe space. Library staff will moderate.

What is Discord?

​

Discord is a free app that allows users to communicate via text, voice or video in real time, and is available as a mobile app, a PC program, or through any web browser. It has primarily been used as an app for video gaming, but has quickly become a social media hangout for several topics and interests.

​

We are using Discord as a digital hangout space, specifically for teens, to provide virtual programming in a curated and well-moderated virtual space.

How to Join?

​

Complete the Teen Discord Application form and the Discord link will be emailed to you within 1-4 days.
